Polio Transition Business Case Project

NPHCDA; May 2019 – August 2020
Preston Associates was contracted by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) in 2019 to develop a Polio Transition Business Case document. The aim of the project was to document transition of Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI)’s knowledge, lessons learned, and assets/infrastructure to address other health goals and priorities.
Preston was tasked to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities for the transition process, asset quantification and to elicit acceptable resource mobilization approaches. Preston employed a series of systematic procedures and techniques including simulation exercise, desk review, retrospective financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, asset mapping and validation, financial modeling and investment analysis to develop a complete and detailed Polio Transition Business Case document.
